Hi, so I was trying to restore my iPhone, and it froze while restoring and now whenever I try to restore it gives an error, forwards me to Apple's website and then provides no diagnostic.

Is it possible for me to get out of restore mode? It worked before I tried restoring initially, I just wanted to delete everything. Also, my iPhone is out of warranty. Can I still go to a genius bar?

Thanks :)

Is your phone jailbroken? I ask, because if it is then restoring from the device is a no-no.

Either way try putting your phone in DFU mode and then upgrading/restoring.

And yes. You can go to a genius bar any time you want. They will help. Perhaps you meant to ask "Can I still go to a genius bar and not pay for service?"

If you meant that, then the answer is probably not.
