I use Apple CarPlay on my vehicle. With that said, I have to plug in the iPhone into the USB port. The USB port charges the iPhone really slow. Slower than the regular wall charger. Does anyone know how to make this charge faster?
 
Whats the Amperage on your USB port? Might just be too low to charge your phone quickly, especially if you're using CPU intensive apps. You could get a 2.1A car charger for the cigarette lighter port
 
But CarPlay wouldn’t work if I use the cigarette light plug correct? If not, maybe I need to replace the usb.
