So, I'm looking to have a remote starter installed into my car. (Remote control that unlocks / locks / starts my car)

I know they make some that are compatible with the iPhone, so I can do it from anywhere really. Does anyone have experience with this? And does anyone know any places that install these? (And possibly how much they run?)

My family has had some done from a company named Ziebart, but I don't see any options as far as iPhone starters on their website, only ones with the little keychain remotes.

Anyone know anything?

We used one from Viper for a couple of years that worked reasonably well. Purchased and installed at Best Buy.

Kind of a gimmick unless you really need the extra range that it can provide (ie. you have to park very far away from where you live or work). Although the fact that you can unlock your car even with your phone if you don't have your keys was useful from time to time.
