so i just plugged in my iPhone (first gen) and got a message in itunes thats reads..."An update to the carrier settings for your iPhone is available. Would you like to download it now" with 'Cancel' and 'Download and Update' options (no download only option) Anyone else see this update? I'm in the US too on AT&T.

If you're not personally responsible for creating the news, it has already been posted. :)

I saw it. It flashed by pretty quickly since I hit "Download and Update" without even thinking about it. Whatever process it undertook was very quick.

I can call the International Space Station now. It's a remarkable update.

    (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

No change that I can discern.

Instead of snarky and unhelpful responses, how about directing the original poster to the existing thread on this topic, reporting this thread to the mods to request closure, and leaving things alone?

    Thanks. :)
