iphone case cracking

    has anyone else noticed that their iphone 3g has cracked??
    today i noticed a crack in my 3g, which i have had for about a year. all its life it has worn a case. so i have no clew how it happened.. i wanted to sell it to get a s... i guess thats not going to happen now..

    has anyone else had this problem with their 3g? what about the 3gs?

    here is a photo of the crack, its a bit hard to see but with the built in webcam.

    if you have had this problem, please post your photos as well.

    cool, thanks heaps.

    am i able to get a new iphone because of this??

    it was a 16gb 3g, so will i be upgraded to a 16gb 3gs???

    They should exchange it, but it will be for a 3G, not a 3GS.

    but they dont make 3g anymore. how will they replace it??
    are you saying that i will get a 8gb mole instead of my current 16gb?!

    No, you will get a 16GB. And they still make the 3G.

    ohh ok thanks. so do they still make the 16gb one? cause you cant get that on a contract, only the 8gb..

    I don't know if they still make the 16GB but they still have plenty of refurbs.

    i dont think they would give a referb as a replacement..

    They always do, that's what they're for. Refurbs are just as good (sometimes even better) than new ones, since they have been more throughly inspected.
