iPhone charger: compatible with all iPhone models?

One of the battery's cells must be busted. You can't fully charge an 11.5 Ah battery with a 1 amp charger in 8 hours.

Impossible for one of the cells to be broken it lasts 10 hours of use at least. Maybe it has something to do with my power supply.

I suppose it's entirely possible that chargers from different batches behave differently, and exceed their quoted specs.

I mean the actual supply of power coming from the mains. In Australia we operate at 220V. anyway perhaps I'm just lucky.

I still can't see how you can charge an iPad 3 from empty to full in 8 hours, just by using an iPhone charger.
