I only use clear cases and usually I’ll cycle between those $3 clear cases with beefed up corners you can find on Amazon and case stores at the mall. Thing is, they’ll get yellow over time (and then it’s another $3. I don’t mind it)

however when I got my 11 Pro I was sort of in a hurry and could not leave the mall without at least some sort of case to protect my $1099 + tax unnecessary purchase so I got the $39 clear case on impulse, which is around 10 times more than I’d pay for one normally.

My question is - how do they hold up over time? I’d hate hate hate to see it yellow like my $3 cases, but I know Apple cases do not last. Anyone has experience with them?

I had a clear Spigen case for my iPhone Xr, and I only noticed the very edges of the case where my fingertips would rest turn yellow after a few months.

Apple clear cases are no exception and use the same materials like those $3 cases. So like other clear cases, it will yellow over time.
