iPhone contacts not syncing to iCloud account?

I have tried multiple times to sync my iphone contact to iCloud, yet it does not work. I go to Settings -> iCloud -> Choose to sync Contacts -> Storage and Backup -> Back up now. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

The backup feature has nothing to do with contact sync.

See http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3998 - the Troubleshooting with iOS devices section. Skip down to the bullet beginning with "If recent changes to Contacts on your iOS device don't appear on your other devices..."

Sorry, didn't see this. Well unfortauntely this only hits the tip of the iceburg to my troubles with syncing iCloud Contacts. Hence why I resorted to Mac Forums rather than Apple's online Troubleshooting.

That is a worthless link. Obviously the issue is not there in that THIN support article by Apple. If you are just going to send the same SIMPLE links anyone can find on Google... don't both responding to a help forum.
