Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with their usage stats under settings apparently resetting. I've been frequently checking usage since the start of my new billing cycle (trying to figure if my 6gb plan is worth it), and the figure I got today is considerably lower.

The reset date still shows the date I reset the data, so I haven't accidentally wiped it (that's what I originally thought). Not q huge deal since I'm not likely to go over on data, but a bit disconcerting if I want to drop to a considerably smaller plan.

I'll just assume since you have a 6GB data plan you are not on ATT. Check to see if your carrier has an App. With the ATT App we can monitor our monthly data, texts, etc.. more reliable than the iPhone Usage stats. The stats should not reset automatically.

In any case, 6GB is a little over-kill on the iPhone unless you are tethering or watching a large amount of YouTube or other videos on the phone. Save yourself a few bucks and reduce data to ~2GB or less.

The problem is that the 6 gigs is a promo with my wireless company. I can save some money at 500mb and probably 1 gb. Just trying to gauge how close I come to those usage rates.

Guess I'll have to wait for my bill (I can access unhooked usage, but the data info is 100% useless)

Edit: as for 2 gb, I'd be paying the same amount or more. Kinda silly that way.
