iPhone doesn't want to wake up

Sometimes my phone doesnt want to wake up (5S). Sometimes i need to press te home button 4-5 times and still nothing. Home button is working perfectly. Could this be some hardware issue (doubting) or software?

Are you running a beta or up to date on OS updates?

I have that issue as well but only when I'm on a phone call. It has happened 3-4 times since I've been on iOS 10. Happened on my 6s Plus and has happened on my 7+ as well.

When this is occurring have you tried using the lock button? If it doesn't wake with the lock button it is more likely to be a software glitch. But if it does wake with the lock button, there could be an intermittent home button issue.
