iPhone downloading stuff in background!

Hey guys... my iPhone has gone crazy. I'm sitting next to my router, I enable Wifi on my iPhone, the router starts blinking endlessly means it's downloading/uploading. Disable wifi, router stops blinking. I really hate this, my iPhone enables Data every time I disable it so it can download/upload whatever it's doing in the background, I'm way over my 3G limit. ALL of my apps are closed, and it keeps downloading/uploading. I go to safe mode, maybe it's one of my tweaks, but even in safe mode it's downloading/uploading! It finds every way to connect to the internet to download stuff! I even removed everything I downloaded from Cydia, and it's still the same. I restore the phone, it' still the same. I reset network settings, it stops then after a few hours it starts downloading again! I don't know what to do! Is there like a way I can see the internet logs in it or something to know which sites it's connecting to? 😛

Update: It's an iPhone 4S, with iOS 5.1.1 untethered 😕

The blinking just means it's using the network. It's not necessarily downloading something. I think every router blinks...

It could just be a small packet for push notification checks.

Have you actually looked at your router usage or are you just staring at the blinking light thinking the worst? 😕

After restoring it a couple of times and resetting network settings PLUS disabling Fetch New Data in Mail contacts settings, it's all better 😀
