I suspect their adoption of digital ID is probably somewhat further along than in Georgia US.

Thanks. He was making me think I was losing my mind. I saw GA just now made it legal for places to accept digital IDs and even then, it's the businesses choice until 2027.

To be specific, HB 296 provided that the digital drivers license satisfies the DL possession requirement while driving, and gives agencies two years to deploy the reader equipment.

I don't believe it has any impact on other situations where you might present your physical drivers license.
