I see quite a bit of these where its around 10 dollars or less. However thousands have been purchased. Are these most likely genuine and not fake assuming they sold thousands? Yes i look at their ratings and its high such as 98 percent or 99.

Thoughts on this? The first one seems to have the best rating where no negative about the earbuds. The other ones you see one of them the rating is still high at 98 percent but has lot of negative overall feedback. Then other one has pretty close to perfect feedback yet they charge much lesser than first seller.

So the first one is most likely real but the others maybe not ?

They're all fakes. All of them. The ratings for the sellers are based on them dispatching the items quickly rather than them being genuine.

Unless they claim to be genuine original Apple headphones in the description then they are going to be fakes. Some will say 'genuine iPhone headphones' or something synonymous with that, to try and trick people into purchasing them without actively lying about being official Apple ones.

If you're looking for fantastic sound quality at a great price, pick up a pair of MDR-7506s or something like that. Otherwise if you're just looking for genuine Apple headphones at a low price, you're not going to get any genuine ones that cheap compared to RRP.

Yet this one theres 3 earbuds yet cost 9 dollars only? However there are no negative ratings at all. Does anyone think this is fake?

But this seller sells same 3 earbuds but from the reviews many say its fake and doesn't work or very bad.

So based on this... would the seller above be legit but this one isn't? I still find it hard to believe 3 earbuds apple for 9 dollars yet not one single negative review with other 16000 sold....

Can you explain the dispatching? Theres ton of reviewers that say great item etc. So wouldn't one of them at least found out its fake then? Then why do certain sellers have buyers that say its fake but other sellers theres no negative reviews at all?

1) They may not have purchased it thinking they were genuine, they just wanted something that would work with their iPhone
2) They look like Apple genuine headphones, so most peopleshrug and figure it's legit
3) A lot of consumers don't know how Apple genuine headphones sound
4) A lot of buyers just want headphones that play music, few are interested in sound quality
5) A lot of consumers can't even tell the difference between headphones unless the differences are night and day, harsh but true
6) Certain sellers have buyers that say they're fake, because they are fake

But is there anything really different about those earbuds vs the real ones? Sound quality is pretty similar? So basically most ppl here then have a fake apple earbud?

Buy one and compare the sound to the original Apple EarPods. Day & night. OEM Apple EarPods come in an Apple box with a manual & a warranty booklet.

I no longer have the OEM. Threw them away last time when it didn't work anymore.

Surprisingly, no one mentioned where to purchase an earpod instead of from Apple. Bought one of the cheap ones from eBay for travel for about $5. It was what is was for $5.

Now, I need two sets, one for the office and the other for the computer room at home. In my opinion, the iPhone OEM headphones, earpod, is one of the best headphones I have ever used. Nice, "sweet", crisp, clear, good base and just right. I love it. Listening to a good jazz or instrumental track with it is 'heaven'. Did I mention how portable it is?

The Apple store asks for $29. Where else can one get an original one for cheaper?

Thanks.
