Does anyone else think that it would be useful if the iPhone told us that we had new e-mail on the locked screen, just like it does with text messages and missed calls?

I use e-mail a lot on my phone and I think that this would be a nice addition.

Would be a nice addition, but a bugger if you're the type of guy who gets spam 24/7. 🙄

One of the things I don't like is the default behaviour of showing the contents of a text message on the front page when you get it.

agreed. this too, bugs me and has got me in trouble once or twice already 🙂

You do know you can turn that feature off right? Well text messages on the locked screen.

aha. so true, like facebook or email updates? 'somone has written on your wall!' or, 'You have a new friend request from fat gamer!'

so annoying. but then again there are cooperate emails.
