Hi I have an iPhone 4 & deleted emails keep loading after i delete them . any help appreciated

Do you also check or manage the account elsewhere (e.g. a Mac in your home/office?)

Hi yes have a MacBook that I check emails as well as an iPhone 6 S plus

On your MacBook, go your Mail account preferences and see how its handling deleted emails. Make sure it's removing email from the server immediately.
