Invite for an online launch?

Apple usually gives more notice, but one week is plenty for an online event. No one ever sends out a press release or an invite on a Friday or a weekend, unless they want it to be ignored. Mondays are less than ideal also, because people are catching up. So, it has to be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. If the event is taking place on a Tuesday, it makes sense to send the invite on Tuesday also.

I think they mean that they spend lots of time working on press releases and in the field of Public Relations, thus leading them to in-depth analysis of trends when it comes to launch invitations, etc.

No, the low end iPhones will be out in a few weeks. Will be at least a MONTH before you ever see a Pro model. Im still saying Dec.
