Hi can anyone recommend a free iPhone file explorer that will allow me to extract photos that are in an album.

Has to be for Windows as well...

All the ones I can find seem to pay for to get any functionality and this is only for a one off.

Can you elaborate on exactly what "extract photos that are in an album" means?

Yep sure, the persons whose iphone it is created an album on it with pictures someone had sent them via email.

iTunes only appears to sync camera roll and nothing else, so I need to get at those pictures, save them to my pc and then sync them across.

Easiest possible solution I can think of would be to create a Shared Photo Stream from the phone.
