I personally think the Chinese are way nicer culturally, although politically they’re in a very bad position.

oh i know 😂 i was going along with this "20k" salary just to play out his scenario.

i was in mumbai couple years ago and the amount of folks doing informal work making scraps on the side just to feed their family was horrifying, my company also hires coding contractors out of india and i'm in charge of web development, so i have a first hand knowledge of exactly how much they make and how much their peers makes in india.
