Netshare,

To those who have it installed, does this break NetShare?

I'm downloading it now, will be ready in 15-20 in and then I will check to make sure Netshare is still working.

I had not thought of this, now you've got me worried!

Please God fix the bug wherein all App Store downloaded applications become unresponsive or do not launch. Please. :(:confused::p;)

I don't care about 3G connectivity ... Just please .. make the OS half-stable, first.

Your point is? They fixed some bug fixes, but all the 3G downloads are larger than the iPhone EDGE downloads, which are larger than the iPod Touch downloads, so likely they had the base OS update, then an EDGE update, and then a 3G update depending on which device is downloading the update.

TEG

I'm saying that users who's iPhones frequently drop 3G signal (which has been well documented on this site and its forums) aren't going to see an improvement as the update is for iPod Touch users as well

I think everything seems "snappier" after you patiently wait for an hour long back up.

My 3G reception is definitely better after installing the update. Getting a full five bars in an area completely blanketed with 3G coverage as opposed to the 3-4 bars outside prior to the update.

I gave this a negative. I don't like how Apple updates, and doesn't TELL US what they are updating. Even if it fixes a few things, it's a cheap way to treat your customers.

Wrong. The update for the iPhone is 248.7MB, the update for the touch and original iPhone is smaller by about 8 MB or so.

They post it later on their support site, simmer down 0-day w4r3z kid.

 A window that pops up telling you an update is out for your phone isn't enough?

Anyway, I clicked update and it updated my phone. It removed Cydia. :(

I can also confirm that NetShare still works. :D

Still works after the 2.0.2 update :D

My iPhone update finished successfully and synched, and now everything seems snappier!!

Actually, I don't notice anything too different yet, but, I wasn't having the same number of problems being reported by others.
