I know that Microsoft is talking to Verizon to launch the iPhone 'rival'. But I also heard that Verizon was also going to try to sell the Apple's iPhone in early 2010. Has anyone heard anything about that?

I think Verizon is keeping its options open.
If the deal with Apple falls off, they got Microsoft to build them an iphone-like phone to compete.
Seeing that RIM failed with the Storm attempt.

I dont know, different people got different questions/concerns about a specific thing.
If we only had one thread for each topic then there would only be 10-20 huge threads around.
