Hey just got this email from my father-in-law

Yesterday I spoke with a friend in corporate sales from Verizon. Here's what she said is happening concerning the iPhone at Verizon.

The iPhone 4 is not 4G so that is confusing. It is 3G
    Verizon's iPhone will be 4G
She says 4G is about 10 times faster than 3G (I'm not sure how reliable that info is)
She is just guessing that the Verizon iPhone will be out by mid next year
They are working in Indy getting towers switched over now
After they get Indy converted to 4G Fort Wayne is the next city in Indiana that will be converted. It is larger than South Bend.
The new iPhone will have a simm card and be the different frequency (I assume more compatible with the world like ATT)"

Sounds like the next Iphone 5 will be Verizon and sim card friendly.

I've been using a Verizon iPhone for years. But then again - I live in an alternative universe - so we get things on a different timeline.

The iPhone is rumored to come to Verizon but I have never heard of "Version." Plus it can't be true because you didn't say CONFIRMED!!!!!!

Verizon won't do the iPhone since they demand control of the phone; they want people to buy music and videos from their "Get It Now" service which generates revenue for them. They don't want Apple to get the money. They also want to install the same limiting crapware that they put on the Droid phones. Just look at some reviews on the droid for the crapware that Verizon sticks on it and limits the search to Bing.
