Been going on for few months now. My iPhone XR, every time I go from cell to wifi connection, phone slows down to a point where it doesnt respond and requires a reboot. If I disable wifi, it usually resolves but I can't enable wifi until after a reboot. Running latest OS. Anyone else see this or know of a fix?

You're more patient than I would be to put up this problem for so long. Yes, reset network settings will erase saved wifi passwords. It's one of many troubleshooting steps. Per Apple: "This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before."

Are you on 13.5? Have you tried forgetting the network and re-adding it? Does it only happen on the one wi-fi network? Did something change on your network when the problem first started? These and other details might help to narrow it down.

I have maybe 100 wifi networks with passwords saved on my phone, maybe thats whats causing it. It started happening anytime I go from cell to any known wifi network. I am on 13.5.

wow, that's a lot of networks, and they're all auto join I imagine. No guarantee that the reset would resolve it but it's a good place to start.
