iOS iPhone game programming?

My Objective-C is decent, and I crashed through some iPhone programming YouTube tutorials. I'm on chapter 7 of the Big Nerd Ranch iOS Programming, but I'm getting really antsy because I want to start Cocos2D for my simple game. Should I finish the book or get another one on Cocos2D?
