Is it normal for the iPhone to get really hot when charging? It's almost like I can iron my shirts with it.

I don't know if that is normal but I'd think it's not. Charged mine tonight and it was shockingly not even faintly warm.

Ambient temp was around 75 deg.

It usually happens when I use the phone while charging. It gets burning hot and gets stuck at 95% battery level.

hmm not what i have seen.

I have noticed mine getting very hot but only when connected to my alpine head unit in my jeep and when it's ~100 degreees out.

Does it get hot only in the cradle? what if you use the wall charger?
