iPhone gets very hot with Pokemon Go...

When trying out thie Pokemon Go game, my iPhone 5s gets very hot.
Is this to be expected, ie. other's get this , or is there a specific problem with my iphone?

Well yes... It's using GPS, data, and probably a lot of the CPU/GPU, etc.

Plus if you consider that you're outside and the screen is at full brightness, it all adds to the phone getting warm. My iPhone 6 gets a little warm after an extended hunt. 😉

In my case iPhone 6s Plus running "iOS10.0 b2" no problem.
It has been around 1 hour by now and there is no signs of heating.

That means that you have more fire Pokemon on your team than other types.

Try catching a Lapras to reduce your phone's temperature.
