I am new hear so bear with me if I don't know how to ask this question properly. When I am at home and receive a call, i tap the speaker icon to answer and the options are "iPhone, speaker, Living Room (Apple TV)"

I have never needed to use the apple TV to answer my calls and never will...is there any way to turn this feature off? I have read that disconnecting my phone from my home wifi will solve the problem but that would just render my phone useless because my phone reception is trash where I live so I need the wi-fi to make and receive calls. I know its just one extra step but I just want to be able to tap the speaker and be sent to the speaker. Thanks in advance!

That’s just the iPhone showing you Airplay options. To the phone, the Apple TV is just another audio output option.
You can turn off Airplay in the Apple TV’s settings app, under the Airplay and HomeKit section.

Thanks for the reply! I checked my settings in Airplay and Homekit. The setting for airplay is off. I toggled it on and then back off again. Still showing up on my iPhone. =(

Are you sure, then, that it's your Apple TV that's showing? It could be a neighbor's.
