For some reason my inbox on gmail isn't syncing correctly with my inbox on my iphone mail.app. Some of the messages show up in all mail but not my inbox but when I go to gmail.com they are in the gmail inbox.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem??

Thanks!

How did you setup the Gmail on your iPhone?

Look here for setting up Gmail using the Exchange feature on the iPhone - this will make sure it's all synced, perfectly.

they don't support exchange anymore for new exchange account, only if you had one in the past

...and are using the same iPhone.

As to the original question, each mail account on the phone has its own "Mail Days to Sync" setting, and Mail has a "Show" setting for how many recent messages to show. Also, if "Organize by Thread" is ON it may look like some messages aren't there (they're grouped together by subject).

Check those things.
