I have two email accounts (both Gmail), so rather than logging into Gmail twice I had been using Thunderbird (on a PC, of course) to easily manage both accounts simultaneously. Then I got my iPhone. Now I use it for 95% of my emails, so I hadn't logged in with Thunderbird in over a week. When I did, it started downloading all of the messages I had received on the iPhone and displaying them as unread. Whoops. Both accounts are properly set up with IMAP. "Delete" on the iPhone is set to archive them on the server, so they end up in "All Mail". I have confirmed that everything is working as it should on the Gmail site. I don't have any emails appearing in the inbox like I do in Thunderbird, they are all in All Mail. Does anybody know what I need to do for Thunderbird to behave as I'm expecting it to?
