I have a 16GB iphone, and spilled water on it. now the ring sound is very low
(though it is turned to the highest level), and the start button doesn't work.
I assume there is water trapped inside that cause those problems.
What can I do? tried to use a drier- didn't help.
    What should I do????

i would have it turned on an angle, home button down and allow it to try and use gravity to have moisture drip out. Best bet is i have a the case-mate clear armor on mine and that seems to by me a few extra seconds to wipe off any liquids and its pretty strong protector, cost me $20.

Switch it off and put it in a bowl. Then cover with uncooked/raw rice. Over a period of hours the rice should draw the moisture out of the iPhone.

Even better if you can afford to have the device powered down

Well the first thing you should do if you havent done it already is to keep your phone off. If youre phones on and the water is travelling through the circuitry chances are your phone is toast. Normally, whenever I got one of my phones wet (happened at least 3 times..lol) I turn my phone off, take out the battery, and put both inside a ziplock bag with uncooked rice. The point of that is for the rice to absorb all of the moisture, however with the few openings on the iphone and no way to remove the battery, im not sure how well this would work. But then again its worth a try.
