I'm traveling from the states to Turkey for the month of May. I would like to use my iPhone when overseas without spending a fortune. Has anyone traveled to Turkey? What is the cell/data service there?
I'm okay with jailbreaking as will probably be needed. Who is a dependable provider, especially outside Istanbul? Where would I buy a sim card and service?
If I can't get service, I would still like to use the GPS for local maps. Is there an application similar to Navagon for Turkey?
