I want to test some location based marketing in various locations and was wondering if it's possible to mock the GPS location on the iPhone without jail breaking.

Maybe if you change the Mac address of your router to one that's known to be wherever you want the GPS to think it is

    iPhone GPS mock location hack?

We use lightning connector Bad Elf external GPS receivers for mobile public safety implementations (iPad minis wifi versions). Bad Elf doesn't have a released API but does have methods to supply gps data. We drive around and collect the gps stream then use that data as playback during development.

I'd like to know this as well. It'd be great for tagging my instagram pics and uploading after editing.

    No.
You cannot manipulate your location services on stock iOS.

I think you can set the coordinates of your location for testing inside the Xcode simulator.
