My iPhone in iTunes now says it has 7.08gb in total in the memory. It also says that there's 80mb of photos when I have none saved. Restore didn't work. Any help?

In iTunes, go iPhone>Photos and de-select any photos you want to remove.

I mean there are zero photos in my iPhone. But it still shows 80mb in iTunes.

Not sure about the photos but the 7.08 is normal. My 16GB is only really 14.64. The way manufacturers and operating systems measure GBs is different so there's always a bit of confusion over this.

You have an iPhone with 8GB of storage, not 8GiB of storage. That means you have 8 billion bytes of storage, which is actually less than 8GiB.

I'm pretty sure it used to be higher than 7.08gb though. 7.23gb sounds familiar but I'm not sure.

If you've updated to 2.0, it may take more space.
If it says the space is allocated to photos, my initial response would be appropriate.

Youre absolutely right. This was the first thing I noticed after the update.
