Hey guys,

On my 4th headset now, as the clicker keeps stopping working. As the phone is out of warranty and I didn't get applecare (D'oh) my question is if I go to the apple store today and buy a new set, and they go wrong, they are covered for a year aren't they? Even though my iPhone is out of warranty??

Hope this makes sense, I'm lousy at explaining things!!!

Yes it would be under warranty and protected for like 90 days im guessing. 30 at the least.

I think the accessories are only like 90 days for the warranty, so you'd have at least that much coverage if you just buy them straight-out.

You might also look into alternate headphones/buds/etc. since you seem to be chewing through the cheapy Apple ones so quickly. No reason to continue throwing good money after bad...
