iPhone hotspot blue bar

This blue bar on the top of the iPhone when I have hotspot enabled drives me crazy. Every time I go to pull down the notification shade it takes me to the hotspot settings, very annoying, is there anyway to make it stop other then turning off hotspot?

Disconnect the devices that are on your hotspot when you're not using it.

there isnt any way to turn it off

If you're going to hotspot settings, you are tapping the blue bar. Don't touch the blue bar. Put your finger above the display (nearer the speaker) and drag down. The notification center will drop as it should.
