iPhone in Korea?

sorry this might not concern most of you but i live in s korea and ive been following the apple products for a while now. i've been waiting for a while now and searching for news on the release in s korea. does anyone have any news on this? if theyre not even gonna release it here, i might as well get a touch so... thanks.

Well I guess I have a good news and a bad one for you... Apparently KTF seems to be making moves to carry the iPhone, so the iPhone most likely is heading to Korea. The bad news(?) is that it won't be coming until later next year or so... Apple seems to be focusing on Europe and Asia, where they could just use the GSM technology. Korea and Japan, however, doesn't use GSM, so Apple would have to make some adjustments to release there.
