iPhone in the Congo?

Anybody know if an iphone bought here in the States would work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?
 
Why not call ATT and ask. I do this for users everyday. The even have link to check. Just search for ATT International Coverage. It give you a map and rates.

On suggestion, bring two phones, just in case.
