iphone insurance

Hello.

So I am on o2 and have iphone premier insurance for £7.50 extra a month.

Not sure if I am upgrading yet probably will, but was just wondering in theory.....

Say I was to lose my phone just after the release of the 3g phone.....

Are O2 likely to just give me a replacement of the new one? As the insurance states they will provide me with a brand new replacement - but are there any available anymore?

They are usually prepared situations such as these and you will get a 1st GEN iPhone if you LOST your iPhone This is part of the reason why insurance is such an iffy thing with cell phone carriers because some people LOSE their cell phones

Aye thought that, but my insurance states it will be a brand new replacement, but was under impression that there are none left here in the uk!!!

They may have some seed stock set aside for insurance purposes as most do for situations that are covered under the insurance.
