iPhone/iOS switch between 3G and Wifi

Hello,

How easy is it to switch between 3G and Wifi on the current iPhone? Is there like a preference you can set, like if there is wifi available choose that for internet? Im asking this because I would like to use 3g and wifi as efficient as possible when I move to an iPhone.

it is seamless, if wifi is switched on, it takes precedence over 3g/edge for internet connections. and if you get out of your wifi range, the phones 3g/edge will take over.
