I hope you have a thick skin and a good sense of humor...

U can do as others, copycat awesome games from consoles like Nintendo, PlayStation, Sega etc. and have new copycats. But instead of rip all off, make them as you think should be. Like GTA2 but "Pizza boss" who must destroy others pizza shops so only he can sell pizza to everyone. Use goofy weapons, throw pizza dew at enemies so they can't move etc.

Simply use your imagination and get inspiration from old school games 😉

We need some great platform style games!😛 So many of them are boring and monotonous. I could imagine one with large, colorful characters, power-ups, different worlds, challenges etc.
