im from uk. is there any proxy or ip masker that allows me to watch on that site?

I guess you just have to take a proxy server with an US IP.
(I am not really using proxies, so don't count on me, but that's the way how it's used to work, isn't it?)
or do they still see where's your provider located?

This is ridiculous. NBC would block Hulu from ever allowing this. Hulu can't afford to lose NBC's content, and NBC would threaten pulling their content if Hulu went through with any kind of deal with Apple. Regardless, this would be pretty cool!

Why would NBC block this? I'm sure that the Hulu app/website would still continue to run ads. This is their primary revenue generator on Hulu, so again what's the problem here?

I'll take it... The Daily Show on the go!

Oh, wait, I don't have an iPhone....

Still, I wonder if NBC is really up to this, since they have an official portal to Apple's mobile devices via the iTunes Store.

In their Superbowl ad, they talk about streaming content to portable devices, so that you can watch it anytime, anywhere, for free. I thought this might have been a reference to making it available on devices other than laptops, but I haven't seen any further indication of this, so I'm not sure that they will actually be doing that. :( It would be so awesome if they did, though . . .

An anonymous source is claiming that Hulu.com and Apple will be launching an iPhone/iPod Touch compatible version of the site as early as this Thursday.

Anonymous sources tend to be inaccurate more times than not, but lending some level of credence to the rumor is that it appears that Hulu's base encoding is H.264 which would make such a version of the site at least technically feasible.

Hulu.com came out of private beta last week and is now open to the public.

Is there any information on when and how well this application or update will be coming or working

If they do ALLOW STREAMING ON 3G! Why do other video apps only utilize wifi. Also check out South Park Mobile and iFamily Guy.

Are those in the App Store or are they only available for JB iPhones?

iFamilyGuy would be really cool. That's the main reason I use Hulu anyway.

now add uk support :)

now add Canadian Support. I loved it when Hulu allowed Canadians to view the shows. We get almost the exact same shows and broadcastings as the U.S. , they should be allowing us to watch the shows.

Oh yeah, wouldn't this defeat the purpose of the iTunes Store TV Show section? Tsk Tsk.

The question is would you be able to hook the iPhone/Touch up to a tv using the av/cables and watch the shows (correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the av cables only outputted video if it was stored on the device it self and wouldn't output things such as web surfing)

In the UK the BBCs iplayer streams just fine on my TV when plugged up to my ipod touch, so I imagine hulu should do the same thing.
