Hopefully this doesn't make me sound completely insane, but, you know ...

    Here's what happened:

I was texting a friend, and then my iPhone started sending messages to her that I didn't write. Like, just random messages that sounded like somebody was messing with me. Not ads or links. They fit into the conversation, so whoever was doing it could see our conversation. But like I said, I didn't type them nor send them.

The friend that this happened with swears she didn't do it, but I'm wondering if there's an app that could do this? Maybe something that allows you to send a message, but makes it appear in blue on the right side of the recipient's screen, making it look like they sent it. Or is there a way of hacking iPhones to do this, or does anyone know of other options?

    ... Maybe I have a split personality? :/

You (or someone else) is logged in with the same Apple ID somewhere else (another iOS device or perhaps a computer) and someone is sending messages as you from there.

Did you get rid of an old iOS device? Likely you didn't wipe it right, so someone else is getting your iMessages.
