iphone jailbreaking dilemma

I was running OS 3.0 Beta 5 well I successfully downgraded back to 2.2.1 and then jailbroke the phone with quickpwn. However, now I can't place or receive calls there is no att up in the upper left corner just its stuck at one flat bar and always says call failed when attempting a call. How do I fix this?

Have you tried restoring or DFU mode?

I have restored it back to 2.2.1 without jailbreaking just using the first part od quickpwn and it works fine.
