I purchased one of these and is very disappointed. I have to remove the case every time I place the phone on the dock. Annoying to say the least.

Can anyone suggest another dock that works with a case.

I'm returning mine I wanted to like it but the phone doesn't sit very sturdy and you need two hands to remove it. Thinking about getting one the ihome clock docks.

iphone 6s. The charger piece in the front needs to sit a little higher so that it accommodates the use of a case.

Works fine with my apple case and double sided tape stops it lifting.

Are they durable? Hell apples using them in store what does that tell you

I found one issue with these docks....trying to dock in the dark is impossible. Would be nice if Apple implemented the external metal charging contacts.

I really like the steel grey lightning dock I got with my iPHone 6s Plus 128gb Steel Grey. I just used some blu-tack at the bottom of the lightning dock.

Twelvesouth.com has a great dock called the HiRise that works with cases.

Check it out HERE
I have that dock and love it. It comes with different inserts so that it can accommodate a variety of cases. The iPhone sits up, too, which makes it great for a FaceTime dock. And because it sits up, you can plug your headphones into your iPhone while it's sitting on the dock. Very slick. And the new ones (HiRise Deluxe) have a nice dial on the back to adjust the support piece, in seconds. The old style works just as effectively, but requires a bit more time to adjust. Then again, once it's adjusted, it's not something one would do very often.

This dock is way cooler than Apple's! Since it comes with a lightning cable, which is $20 here (I know it's not Apple but whatever) so that makes the dock only $15 :p

EDIT: Nevermind, The bundle with cables costs an additional $15...

I have it and love it. It's very functional, and great-looking, too (IMHO).
