I am a network admin so I like to mess with stuff sometimes until it breaks. Well, I was messin with the iPhone enterprise policy distribution app and I created a policy for my phone which REQUIRES a complex password (well .... more than 4 characters with at least one alphanumeric character is required) ... and last night I changed the password on my phone and now I cannot for the life of me remember what it is, and the enterprise policy app won't allow me to apply a new policy without entering in the current password in the phone.

HOWEVER ... I DO HAVE SSH ACCESS TO THE PHONE since it is JailBroken and OpenSSH is running .... I can get into it NO PROBLEM AT ALL ...

THE ONLY THING I NEED is the path and name of the file that is or holds the password so I can rename it, move it ... whatever .... reboot and get into my phone an respond to some of these damn text messages and phone calls.

SO if ANYONE knows where the magic password file is located, I would be mucho gracias happy and greatful.

And if you're considering responding to this thread with, "no we won't help you hack into someone elses phone" or some other 7 year old drama inducing paranoia rant ... save yourself the effort and the ignorance pontification as you will be clearly stating to everyone who reads this thread that you are a childish, fearful little n00b without a peni which means you troll threads like a hall monitor to make yourself feel big and strong. Go hit up your Dungeon Master for some new gear and leave the important threads up to the grown-ups ... ta tat Junior.

To anyone who has this knowledge and will freely share it, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and if you'd be willing to PM me with a mailing address, I'd love to send you a Starbucks gift card ... or maybe Chilli's ... whatever you need.

Thank you,

Mike
