    Hey Guys,

A friend of mine replaced his battery without turning the device off, and now his iphone is blocked for a period of 7 years :D

That many minutes is 43.7 years. I don't think that the iphone has been around that long to be locked on the homescreen. In my humble opinion.

The time is looking forward -- that is the screen that normally displays how many minutes you must wait before attempting to re-enter the passcode after multiple failed attempts to enter the correct passcode. The first time it displays it is "Try again in 1 minute."

Just be patient, and give it some time.
It will pass by and you can try again.:D

    another quick question

We could not restore it or jailbreak it because of an also defective home button and defective unlock button.

The device is now available for resell ( only the parts that do work afcourse)

But now here is my question.

(she has succesfully removed the icloud lock but if someone else buys this logic board, will he also get this 1000000minutes blocked thing?
