iPhone losing info

Hello,
Just bought 3G, and loving it - but...

twice now all my contacts have disappeared. Also discovered the maps info lost the markers etc that I'd placed!! 😱😡😕

Anyone else had similar probs?

What to do?

Make sure you have it backed-up, then take it to the nearest Apple Store. 🙁
