I wanted to check and see if anybody else has experienced a little glitch I am having with Mail.

I set-up a POP account and everything was working fine - sending and receiving. In my usual manner of tinkering, I wanted to see how things would react if I turned the account I set-up off in the "Settings" menu from the Home screen.

I turned the account off and the Mail application went back to asking me to set-up an account - as expected. However, when I turn the account back on the Mail application still asks me to set-up an account. The account is active, but I can't view it in the Mail application.

I know it is active because the Home screen is updating telling me I have new email by adding the little number to the corner of the Mail application.

Anybody experience this? Have any thoughts?

Could be a bug. Have you tried rebooting the phone?

A possible workaround is to create a bogus account, turn both accounts on, and go into the Mail App to see if both show up. You can then go back and delete the bogus account.

ZBoater - Thanks for the reply. I did do a restart and the account is now working. Of course I broke it again by trying the process over, but at least I know how to fix it now :D

Not a major bug, but, for anyone else having this issue - it is a bug and I have reported it to Apple's iPhone Feedback group.
