Resolved Iphone Mail Problems Delete Email

Hi All,

I'm new to these forums but I'd thought I'd best post this to help other people experiencing this problem.

Problem: I've had a client come up to me and say: "When I try and delete emails on my iphone it shows an error saying can not delete email because the trash bin doesn't exist"

So I had a look at the iphone and the client had the email set to IMAP, for some reason the iphone doesn't like IMAP settings.

I deleted the account on the phone and re-added it making sure POP3 was selected, once done the problem was solved.

I'm not sure if this will help but I thought I'd best inform you guys.
