I cannot remove this... What can I do? I am locked out of Safari and Chrome

Thanks! So far so good... I rebooted after I installed the blocker.

Not sure why you'd be blocked in both Safari and Chrome unless you opened the same link in both for some reason.

Aside from content blockers for Safari, which are certainly useful, often enough the way to clear these stuck web sites would be to reset Safari data from settings (and in case of another browser trying something similar or perhaps deleting and reinstalling the app).

i got this same message on facebook for t-mobile subscribers while i was reading a story on cbs news

It's a maliciously crafted advertisement, it uses JavaScript to send a message to the browser. Content blockers will block this junk.

You can also go to settings and chose click on clear history and website data. That will fix it right away.

Perhaps, but then you lose your browsing history. I'd find that mighty annoying since i refer back to things all the time.

Sometimes that might be the only way to get rid of it.
