iPhone Mapping - Best solution

Hi,

Trying to figure out what is the best mapping solution for location-based-services.

I've heard that Loopt got access to a Microsoft mapping service? The Google Maps component we're using now isn't the greatest and actually gets its map piped in from a third party web site.

Anyone here have any recommendations?
